The game was built in collaboration between Harry Nesbitt – founder of Land & Sea – and Snowman – an independent software studio based in Canada. To date the game has received over 30 million downloads across iOS and Android, and continues to be held in high regard as a flagship title on both platforms. Released in February of 2015, the game has gone on to receive a wide range of awards and accolades including Apple's Best of 2015, an IGF Honourable Mention and nominations for both the Unity (2015) and Google Play (2016) awards.
